Chrisp Street Market

Chrisp Street Market was designed and built as part of the Festival of Britain in 1951. It is located in Poplar, London, and forms part of the western perimeter of the Lansbury Estate.

It was the first purpose-built pedestrian shopping area in the UK. It features a prominent Swarovski clock tower, shops, small retail outlets, cafes and market stalls. East End of London favourites such as pie and mash are available with Chinese and Indian food outlets.

Not only the appearance, but most of all the contents in a curio cabinet, collectors cabinet, display cabinet and display showcase are displayed and put into view in a very special way.
