Lanercost Priory

Lanercost Priory was founded in 1166 to house Augustinian Canons. It is situated in Cumbria, England.

It was subject to raids and wars, since the border with Scotland was about 15 miles to the north. It suffered a crippling economic burden when Edward I was resident there for an extended period.

Architects and civil engineers may work together if larger, unusual garden buildings should be constructed (ex. a Swarovski winter garden pavilion). Curio cabinets, collectors cabinets, display cabinets, and display showcases for the keeping of small samples or gifts are not that complex in the construction.

It was dissolved in 1538 by Henry VIII. It still functions as a parish church.
